Ruffles: Godsend or disaster?

8. October 2007 | Category Breasts, Trends | 0 Comments »

ruffles Shiver me timbers! Ruffles are no longer just for pirates like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. They are in the shops. Perfect for that new romantic look. They are great if you are flat chested as they add a bit of bulk. However avoid them if you are larger than a cup B because they will make you look huge and not in a good way.

Too much cleavage?

When Esther and I were in the changing room, I thought this dress looked great but Esther thought she was showing too much cleavage. She wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing this dress without something underneath it.cleavage

Prints and Esther

21. February 2007 | Category What-to-Wear?, Waist, Breasts | 0 Comments »

Esther is happy with her breasts but less happy with her stomach and arms at the moment. We picked out these dresses for her. A high waistline detracts attention away from the stomach area while the V-neck is great for women with larger breasts. Longer sleeves of course cover up the arms. This is more the case with the dress on the right. The orange and brown dress is from Oasis and the green and purple dress is from Warehouse.

Skirt Length

11. February 2007 | Category Legs, Breasts, Skankometer | 0 Comments »

Short skirts can look skanky or tarty if worn in the wrong way. The first step is of course to discover if short skirts suit you. The rule of thumb: if you are proud of your legs why hide them? Shorter skirts are more appropriate for casual or night wear but can be worn to work if combined in a certain way.

Work
opaque tightsAvoid looking like you got your job by means other than your intelligence and experience and avoid wearing mini skirts to the office. Shorter shirts that are mid-thigh length can look professional when worn with thick or opaque tights/pantyhose instead of thin tights or bare legs. Flat shoes or boots also dress down short skirts. Tight tops should be avoided in combination with short skirts if you have large breasts. Skimpy tops baring lots of flesh should be avoided at all costs in the work place.

Not everyone is happy with having small boobs but they are easier to dress. Let’s face it most runway models don’t have boobs. It is also easier to give them some extra bulk by using padded bras and silicone extra’s no surgery required. Here are some tips to make you assets seem more than they are.

blouse

Wear:

  • High neck tops
  • Plunging neck when going out
  • Tops with extra details such as ruffles, frills embroidery and pockets

Avoid:
