When Esther and I were in the changing room, I thought this dress looked great but Esther thought she was showing too much cleavage. She wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing this dress without something underneath it.

Am I showing too much cleavage? Is a question that often plagues me when deciding what to wear. I once wore a dress that I found quite revealing to a party back when my breasts were much smaller. Everyone kept telling me “no it’s fine” but I couldn’t help feeling a tad skanky. However with my pregnancy induced larger cup size I really notice how showing a bit of cleavage can draw attention to that area. Tops I used to wear with no problems draw a bit too much attention for my liking. Men think they are being discrete but you can so catch (some of) them sneaking a peak. A guy friend of mine says men can’t help it, especially if breasts are on display and some men are better than others at hiding it. This all brings me back to my question. When is it too much?

• First rule: You have to feel comfortable.

• Second rule: Be more conservative during the day than in the evening.

• Third rule: The smaller the boobs, the more you can get away with.
