Here’s a picture of me working the stripes trend.

This is a black and white and bolero I bought at Wonder Woman in the Netherlands with the essential black shirt I bought years ago in Rotterdam. The jeans I also bought in Wonder Woman and the shoes are from Dolcis. These jeans are going out of fashion now. You can get these type of shoes everywhere. They are versatile and feminine.

Warning

Do not wear shoes with ankle straps if you have thick ankles. They will make them look thicker.

Problem: too darn big
The key to dressing up big arms is wear sleeves. This is not so fun in the summer when everyone is wearing sleeveless tops. Try to find some tops with 3 quarter length sleeves or fluted sleeves. Rolled up sleeves can also give you a summer look. Here is a summary of what to wear and what not to wear if you have big arms.

Wear:

• Three quarter length sleeves
• Fluted sleeves (they widen at the bottom)
• Small delicate bracelets
• Loose sleeves

Problem: Where are they?

Not everyone is happy with having small boobs but they are easier to dress. Let’s face it most runway models don’t have boobs. It is also easier to give them some extra bulk by using padded bras and silicone extra’s no surgery required. Here are some tips to make you assets seem more than they are.

Wear:

• High neck tops
• Plunging neck when going out
• Tops with extra details such as ruffles, frills embroidery and pockets

• Scoop neck
• Boob tube
• Small thin tops with a low neck

Problem: my tits are huge
Most men would disagree that this is a problem. Here are the basic rules if you are lucky enough to have big boobs. When you have big boobs you need to watch out that you don’t look too top heavy. Beware of tight fitting tops.

Wear:

• Tops with an open neck
• V neck tops and dresses
• Fitted jackets
• Wrap dress

Avoid

• Large belts
• Turtles necks
• Polo necks
• Tops with a high neckline
• Boxy jackets
• Vertical stripes
• Bulky layering

White is one the main trends for the summer, unfortunately is doesn’t stay that way for long with me. I put on some white trousers the other day and as I was walking out the door I noticed a stain. Who knows where from. Literally within the space of 5 minutes I had a huge grey stain.

I thought I was looking especially good the other day with a my beautiful light blue skirt and and a white jacket. I was on my way to a meeting with a client when my friend and collegue informed me I had an orange stain on the cuff. Probably from dinner the night before. I had to try to remember not lift my arm for the entirety of the meeting. Annoying! I have many more stories involving white tops and red wine. You can guess how they end.

I’m sure I’m not the only one with problem. I’m also interested to know if there is actually someone who can wear white without getting covered in crap.

The other day I realized I was so busy trying to avoid getting the dreaded VPL (Visible Panty Line) that I was showing the actual panty. On the way to a client my collegue had to inform me that my g-string was actually hanging out the top of my trousers…eek! G-strings also seem to make these abnormally long labels to go in the back of them and that was hanging out too OMG!

However I do know I’m not alone. I have seen many a girl cyling with her hipster trousers and short jacket and some major VP. Sitting down seems to be a killer. Let me know your stories.
